Lemon Drop Slush


3 lemon drops, finely crushed
4 or 5 lemon halved
1 cup sugar
4 cups ice cubes
3/4 cup lemon flavored vodka or vodka ( 6 ounces)

1.  To crush lemon drops for coating the rims of the glasses, place them in a sturdy resealable bag.
Strike them with a meat mallet until finely crushed. Use one lemon half to rub the rims of the glasses.
Dip the rim of each glass in crushed candies. Place glasses in freezer while preparing lemon slush.
2. For lemon slush, squeeze juice from remaining lemon halves; measure 1 cup juice.
In a blender, combine the 1 cup lemon juice and sugar. cover and blend well.
Add the remaining 2 cups of ice; cover an blend until mixture is slushy and holds its shape.
3. divide slush among the chilled glasses. Drizzle each serving with 2 TB 1 ounce vodka.
If desired, garnish with a lemon slice. Stir just before serving drink.
Makes 6 servings.
